‘Diploma in Food Technology’ empowers the students with knowledge and skills required for quality control and research & development in food industries manufacturing processed foods. The ‘Department of Food Technology’ also conducts various training programmes for government and corporate sectors as well as other educational institutions.

Food Technology, Food Microbiology, Sensory Evaluation Techniques, Food Analysis, Food Packaging, Food Chemistry, Cereal Technology, Dairy Technology, Cost Management & Accountancy.

Special Features :

 

In the year 2004, the department received a grant of Rs. forty five lakhs, sixty six thousand from the ministry of food processing, Government of India, New Delhi for upgradation of its laboratory facilities.
The students get hands-on experience on modern state of the art machines and equipments.
