The Diploma in Administration Services is a three year course, approved by A.I.C.T.E. and accredited by N.B.A.(2007-08), New Delhi. This is a six semester course, inclusive of one semester of Internship training and it emphasizes on proficiency in technical skills for Office Automations like Computer and Internet applications, Telecommunications and Stenography. It includes commerce-based theory subjects and aims at effective personality development to suit the corporate image. The objective of the course is to train Administrative Assistants; Secretaries, Sales and Marketing Executives and Front Office Personnel. Introduced in 1976, as ‘Diploma in Commercial & Secretarial Practices’, the course was redesigned as Diploma in Administration Services, to keep abreast with global changes in business and office administration. For those interested in pursuing continuing education along with their jobs, diploma holders are elligible for direct admission to the Second Year B.Com / B.M.S. in S.N.D.T. Women’s University / Mumbai University.
