Diploma in Interior Design

The Department of Interior Design believes in a broad and interdisciplinary attitude for enriching the design activity. The aim of ‘Diploma in Interior Design’ is to promote a critical self contemplation and to provide requisite skills to put design ideas systematically into practice. The course trains the student designers to integrate different aspects of SPACE DESIGN and INTERIOR DESIGN into one user centric area.

(Inclusive of 1 Semester Internship)
Intake – 30
Eligibility – S.S.C. or equivalent, Min. 35%

Core Subjects

Basic Design Interior Design, Building Technology and Services, Drawing Skills, Workshop Restoration & Recycling (Conservation), Climate Conscious Building Design/ Climatology, Visual Merchandising, Furniture Design, Product Design, Project Management, Graphical Communication Skills, Specification Tendering and Professional Practices, Sociology.
