The Department of Ophthalmic Technology was established in 1984 and has evolved since then to be known throughout the country as one of the leading centers for Optometry and Ophthalmic Assistant Training. With emerging technology, the department has constantly upgraded its curriculum for ‘Diploma in Ophthalmic Technology’ to make the students eligible to the needs of the Industry and Society as a whole.
