The Department of Apparel Manufacture and Design is one of the oldest pioneer institutions in the country that pioneered the concept of fashion and fashion shows in India. The excellence imparted to the students is the result of a carefully planned training program involving mastering the techniques of apparel construction and rendering, along with subjects like History of Costumes, Contemporary Textiles and Weaving.
