In 1976, the University set the pace for vocation-oriented education by establishing Premlila Vithaldas Polytechnic where one can select from a range of job-oriented technical courses.
Electronics Department of P. V. Polytechnic was established in 1983. It conducts “Diploma in Electronics” programme of four years duration. It is the only programme in Maharashtra which provides opportunity of In-plant training and Internship for one year to its students. The department aims at providing high quality technical education in the field of electronics engineering.
The curriculum includes pioneering subject of ‘Documentation Techniques’ which is highly appreciated by the Industry. The diploma students get an exposure to modern and cutting edge technology in prestigious institutions and companies like BARC, TIFR, L & T etc. The Department has a strong team of highly qualified 12 faculty members which is headed by Mr. Dinesh Girap and many industry experts work with the department as a mentor.
Being a grant in Aid course of Govt. of Maharashtra, students pay very less fees compare to private colleges.
