Diploma in pharmacy in our polytechinc is a two and half years (five Semesters) course including one semester internship program recognized by AICTE and approved by PCI, conducted by SNDT Women's University which was established in 1976. It's one of our polytechnic courses which includes spacious classrooms, laboratories, library facilities and even extra /co curricular activities for all round development of our budding pharmacists. Name of Diploma & Its Introduction

Diploma in Pharmacy or D.Pharm is an undergraduate Diploma Course, designed to familiarize candidates with the basic concepts of pharmaceutical science. Pharmacy is a paramedical field involved in the preparation, dipensing and appropiate use of medication meant for therapeutic purposes. The course provides the minimum qualification to become a "Registered Pharmacist" in India. The Pharmacy council of India (PCI) is the regulatory body of pharmcy education in India and as such only the institutes approved by the PCI under sub-section (1) of Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act, 1948 can offer it.
