Ms. Anita Dongre

She passed Diploma in Dress Making & Fashion Co-ordination (Now known as Diploma in Apparel Manufacture & Design) in the year 1983, while pursuing a degree in Commerce.

She is the Sole Proprietress and the Creative Director of ‘AND Designs India Ltd.’ and owns ‘CLAY’, a wellness centre in Mumbai. Her inimitable signature labels include ‘AND’, ‘Global Desi’, ‘GRASSROOT’, ‘ANITA DONGRE – INTER-PRE’T’ and ‘ANITA DONGRE – TIMELESS’. Her clothing is retailed out of more than 120 stores in India and abroad.

In Fashion Shows, Award Shows, Premiers and Movies her designs have graced the country’s most elite and celebrated personalities. She has created staple designs for modern go-getter women and also designed and manufactured Uniforms for the Sales Personnel of various Leading Brands like Lakme, B.P.L., Calvin Klein, Sunsilk etc.

Honor Won - She was the only Indian designer invited to showcase her collection in the Finale of C.P.O. Fashion Show, Germany.

Ms. Neeta Lulla

She passed Diploma in Dress Making & Fashion Co-ordination (Now known as Diploma in Apparel Manufacture & Design) in the year 1985.

She has worked as an Assistant Choreographer to Jeanne Naoroji for 21 Fashion Shows and has designed costumes for over 350 films. Her clientele of stars ranges from Bindu to Raveena, Aishwarya and many more. Globally, Neeta Lulla has done a number of shows in U.S., Canada, Monte Carlo and Rome. She was commissioned to design all the costumes for Omar Sharif and Peter O'Toole in the Hollywood mega film 'One Night with the King'.

She has launched a flagship store in Mumbai. This two-storey showroom has two lines of collection. While the basement caters to the bridal lounge (Neeta Lulla Couture), the ground floor holds diffusion line (Neeta Lulla Nishq).

Awards Won - ‘National Award’ for Costume Designing for Yash Chopra’s ‘LAMHE’ in 1992, ‘Screen Videocon Award’ for the ‘Best Costume Designer’ in Subhash Ghai’s ‘TAAL’, in 1999, ‘Bollywood Award Trophy’ (New York) for the ‘Best Costume Designer’ for ‘TAAL’.

Ms. Priyadarshini Rao

She passed Diploma in Dress Making & Fashion Co-ordination (Now known as Diploma in Apparel Manufacture & Design) in the year 1990.

Before joining this course she had already completed a Three Year Diploma in Textile Design & One Semester Course in Pattern Making at LCFS, London. She launched her label in 1996. Besides her own label, she has headed the design studio at Shoppers' Stop in 2001-02, and also founded the design and brand concept for the apparel label ‘Sepia’ in its formative year. She has presented her work at the India Fashion Weeks since 2004 and also at the Singapore Fashion Week in 2006. These shows along with ‘Raymond Shows’ have won critical acclaim to her label. She launched her own store ‘VINEGAR’ in 2002. Her clothing is retailed out of over 15 premium boutiques in India. She has also designed corporate uniforms for premium service brands. She was an Instructor in the Dept. of Apparel Manufacture & Design, P.V. Polytechnic, S.N.D.T. Women’s University.

Ms. Masaba Gupta

Passed Diploma in Apparel Manufacture & Design in the year 2010.

She launched her label ‘Masaba’ in July 2009 and made her debut at Lakme Fashion Week Spring Summer 2009, in the GENNEXT category.

She has launched a flagship store ‘MASABA’ at Juhu in Mumbai. Her label caters to women aged between 25 – 50 years, making it an age versatile collection.

Arpita Mehta

At a very young age Arpita Mehta discovered her love for the fashion industry, Graduating from S.N.D.T Women’s University in Mumbai, majoring in apparel manufacture and dress design, she quickly decided to go down a conventional route into the fashion industry. The designer started her career by getting an internship with Manish Malhotra. It was here that she spent two years learning fundamental skills and techniques of the Indian fashion industry.

After two successful years with Manish Malhotra she finally decided to launch her own label focusing on “understated, attractive and detailed silhouettes”. She describes her label as “easy, fun glamorous and fresh”. Her collections consist of both traditional Indian clothing as well fusion clothing. She gives extra attention to intricate embroidery using anchor threads and interesting mirror work.

From her studio based out of Juhu (Mumbai), Arpita Mehta retails from designer outlets across India including in Delhi and Mumbai. Her ‘Starlight’ collection, which was seen at Lakme Fashion Week 2014 incorporated a number of different fabrics including silk and flat chiffons. The designer received good feedback from critics and was inspired by her grandmother’s love for vintage cocktail dresses and Indian opulence. /p>

Priya Chhabria

Priya Chhabria, a commerce graduate from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics, completed her diploma in Apparel Design & Manufacturing from P.V.Polytechnic, S.N.D.T. in 2002. After winning "student of the year" and best surface treatment for her graduating collection at Chrysalis, she won an internship at Sheetal and Sheetal Design studio where she trained and worked under Hemant Trevedi and Aki Narula. She went on to win the "British Council Femina Most Outstanding Young Designer" award, through which she was sent for a short training project at the famous UK brand "Monsoon" in London which gave her an international outlook to design and quality.She was partner and head designer at "Prriya & Chintans" from 2003, where she has designed for famous celebrities like Salman Khan, Sridevi, Vidya Balan, Isha Koppikar, Amrita rao, Kangana Ranaut, Neha Dhupia and many more. Prriya & Chintans was a part of various fashion weeks in India and various shows in the United States as well.

Priya´s forte is designing Indianwear for men and women, where she merges Exquisite Indian embroideries with Western cuts to give her collection an International appeal. She has an eye for detail and uses highest quality in luxury fabrics and intricate embroideries to give the client a product that speaks style, elegance and high quality.

Label "Priya Chhabria" launched in 2011, is a brand that represents a fusion of her Indian roots with her global exposure. The Brand now retails out of her flagship store at Juhu in Mumbai, and internationally from Raaz (Chicago), Anokhi Ada (Atlanta) and soon to be online on Ctaare.com and Indianroots.in
